A number of accessories are available for the 801600 series printers to aid in mounting and securing the printer at the point of sale. In addition to the accessories shown, we off a complete list of replacement parts including replacement doors, power cords, locks and keys.
UNDER COUNTER CRADLE KIT
This kit includes a 16 gauge steel cradle (powder coated in black), instructions, mounting template and all the hardware to mount the dispenser under a shelf. The dispenser cannot be removed from the cradle without opening the locked door to access the forms. This frees up valuable counter space and secures the dispenser at the point of sale.
SHELF BRACKET KIT
This kit includes an 18 gauge steel bracket with a zinc chromate clear finish, instructions, mounting template and all the hardware to mount the dispenser to top of a shelf. The dispenser cannot be removed from the cradle without opening the locked door to access the forms. This frees up valuable counter space and secures the dispenser.
SECURITY CABLE
The security cable screws into an insert molded into the back of the dispenser. This allows you to secure the dispenser with a paddle lock to the integrated loop. It is made of 3/16” stranded stainless steel cable with a clear plastic coating to prevent scratches.
REPLACEMENT PURPLE RIBBONS
Purple ink is the standard for the industry. Purple distinguishes what is printed by the dispenser from what is pre-printed on the form in black. These, easy to install snap in ribbon cartridges include an instruction label. Ribbon life is approximately 6,000 forms. Ribbons are sold in boxes of 6 with 24 boxes to a case.
The same technology used in the 801600 series printers is now available in a kiosk version. This model uses an 18 gauge steel chassis with a zinc electroplated finish instead of the high-impact Lexan polycarbonate used in the 801600. It also includes a built in cutter that cuts the document after printing allowing it to drop into an exit chute for presentation to the customer. It uses the same ribbon as the 801600 series printers. The cutter mechanism flips up on a mechanical detent to allow easy installation of the ribbon.
